Celebrating works by notable historical Ojibwe and Inuit artists, “A Portrait of Turtle Island” explores the myths, legends, visions, and daily lives of Indigenous peoples from across the country!

James Rottman Fine Art is excited to present “A Portrait of Turtle Island”, a celebration of historical Indigenous artists from across Canada. This visual exploration of Ojibwe legends, stories, and visions focuses on two influential Woodland School artists Norval Morrisseau (1931 - 2007) and John Eric Laford (1955 - 2021).
