Please join us for a 3-part course of printmaking! Learn how to create original botanical Linocut Art prints with artist Alan Li.
In this 3-part course, you’ll create original botanical art through the process of Linocut relief printmaking. Our instructor will demonstrate how to carve your design onto a linoleum block and techniques for hand-printing your images. Suggestions for setting up a printmaking workspace at home will also be discussed.
At the end of the course, you’ll take home a variety of hand-crafted prints made on Japanese Mulberry paper, blank mixed media Greeting Cards and toned art papers.

Paid parking is available in the lot directly adjacent to the gardens for $2.50 per hour. Paid parking is enforced 24 hours a day. Overnight parking is not permitted. Payment may be made by credit card, coin or via mobile app: iParkMe.
Funds from paid parking go directly to the Toronto Botanical Garden, which is a registered charity. These funds will support the long-term sustainability of TBG’s mandate – horticulture, education, conservation and research – as TBG develops a world-class botanical garden for Toronto.
Free parking is offered to Toronto Botanical Garden members as a membership benefit. Regular visitors to the gardens are encouraged to become members to enjoy the benefits and support the greening of our city. Memberships start at $45 per year.
