In A Queen Like Me is a TD Canada Trust Top Recommended Reads for the Summer Reading Program (2022), Zoe and Kaitlyn play dress-up, but the fun fizzles when Kaitlyn refuses Zoe the role of princess based on Kaitlyn’s perception of a princesses look. Zoe’s parents use the disagreement to address inclusivity and celebrate diversity. Readings at 11 am daily.

Grandma’s Memory Box at 1:30 PM

Grandma’s Memory Box is a story designed to help children understand dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Zoe reminds us that even if our grandparents start to become forgetful, they still love us as much as they did before. This story is utilized as a resource with the Alzheimer’s Association for families coping with a loved one living with dementia/Alzheimer’s disease. Readings at 1 pm daily.
