In Pat Metheny’s 40+ years as a bandleader and recording artist, he has received much acclaim from both his peers and his fans.  Included are countless “Best Jazz Guitarist” Awards plus an induction to the Downbeat Hall of Fame in 2014 as their youngest member ever.  To date, Metheny has received 20 Grammy Awards for his recordings including an unprecedented seven consecutive Grammys for seven consecutive albums released by the Pat Metheny Group.
