For the last Sunday Scene of this season, we invite you to join the talk with the Director and CEO of the Aga Khan Museum, Dr. Ulrike Al-Khamis, who will speak on the life and work of Iraqi Kurdish artist Hiwa K, as well as his exhibition at The Power Plant, Do you remember what you are burning?. Dr. Al-Khamis will discuss Hiwa K’s experience and creative trajectory, and his multi-layered, globalized identity as an artist. She will take the audience through the artist’s complex art projects and analyze his aim to transcend one-track narratives and world views.
