Experience wonderful wildlife, seascapes and landscapes captured by photographer Dror Orbach during an expedition to Svalbard, which started in Longyearbyen (78.2° North) and reached the Arctic Ocean at 80.7° North, only 1000km from the North Pole.
Svalbard is a Norwegian archipelago between mainland Norway and the North Pole. One of the world's northernmost inhabited areas, it's known for its rugged, remote terrain of glaciers and frozen tundra sheltering polar bears, walruses, Svalbard reindeer and many other animal species. In June 2022 Dror had an opportunity to experience Svalbard first-hand on board a small expedition ship.
