Apérochic was launched in Toronto in the fall of 2011, the original idea of La Parisienne, a French ex-pat. Looking to recreate some of the French socializing she missed, La Parisienne started organizing events for people interested in meeting and enjoying an apéritif. Joined by Estelle, also a French transplant in Toronto, a few months later, the two women have developed a love of entertaining into highly anticipated monthly social events.
With more than 10 000 urban professional members and more than 350 attendees per event, Aperochic is the best cocktail party in town, held monthly at Toronto’s most interesting downtown venues.
In France, any good evening gathering begins with “l’apéritif,” An opportunity to share a glass of champagne or a cocktail with friends, L’Aperitif is an essential part of French social culture. Aperochic delivers the classic French tradition to a diverse Toronto membership, offering monthly social gatherings to meet and reunite with friends.
