A gem hiding in plain sight on Gerrard Street East in the downtown “Garden District”, half-way between Yonge Street and Allan Gardens. Just across from the Toronto Metropolitan [Ryerson] University campus, this is a not-for-profit public art museum where up to eight distinct exhibit spaces may be open at a given time.
Admission is free and visitors are welcome from Tuesday to Saturday from noon to 5:30.
Sculpture, painting collage and more media are displayed over four floors in two former houses. A library-garden is on the second level and a working basement studio is usually open for visits.
All installations overseen by artistic director deborah harris.
