Hugh's Room Live

Hugh’s Room Live has been Toronto’s prime location for independent artists – both legacy and emerging – across a variety of genres for over 20 years. We present folk, roots, Americana/Canadiana, singer-songwriter, global music, jazz and many other genres. In the past Hugh’s Room artists such as Gordon Lightfoot, Peter Seeger, Odetta, Joni Mitchell, Richie Havens and many others have graced our stage.

From 2001 until 2020 Hugh’s Room Live was located at Dundas and Roncesvalles but in July 2023 purchased a new home at 296 Broadview Avenue and have been presenting shows in the former church space in a concert/theatre style setting since September of 2023. In that short time we’ve already re-established our reputation as the best listening room in Toronto. Come and hear for yourself!
