Icarus Theatre

MANDATE:

To create high-quality, accessible theatre in Canada. To develop and produce works that are new or have seen little exposure. To provide artists with a place to practice and hone their craft with professional compensation.

HISTORY:

Icarus Theatre was established in April 2022 with our first production Voices of Tomorrow: A Cabaret of New Music Theatre – which played to sold out audiences at the historic Buddies in Bad Times Theatre in Toronto. Our production of Lobby Hero will play at The Alumnae Theatre in December.

UPCOMING SHOW:

Come see the thrilling new production of LOBBY HERO by Kenneth Lonergan at Icarus Theatre! Never before done in Toronto, this under-appreciated Broadway show is a must see. Shows run December 7th – 17th at the historic Alumnae Theatre in downtown Toronto. Evening shows begin at 7:00 PM most nights, with matinee shows at 2:00 PM on select dates. Doors open 30 minutes before the show.

All proceeds generated will go towards funding our exciting, upcoming production of Kenneth Lonergan’s Lobby Hero at the Alumnae Theatre in December (https://www.icarustheatre.ca/lobby-hero). The event will take place on November 16th, 2022 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM.
