James Rottman Fine Art

Established in 1995, James Rottman Fine Art is a leading force in the Canadian art world. We specialized in the representation and sale of influential 20th Century Canadian historical, post-war and contemporary artworks.

Our collections include important works by members of the Group of Seven, Painters Eleven, and other historically important artist groups like Les Automatistes, Les Plasticiens, Regina Five, and Quebec Moderns, among others. We have been honoured to represent the careers of some of Canada’s most celebrated artists including Tony Urquhart, Henry Saxe, Lloyd Fitzgerald, Aidan Urquhart, and the talented emerging artist Biba Esaad. We have also been entrusted with representing the estate and artworks of celebrated Canadian artist Douglas Haynes. We are a member in good standing with the Art Dealers Association of Canada (ADAC).

After many successful years as an online art space, in October 2022 James Rottman Fine Art opened a physical gallery space in the St. Clair West Village. Since opening, we have exhibited three successful shows highlighting the works of both contemporary and historically significant artists.
