Clark Centre for the Arts presents Thomas Brasch as part of Scotiabank Photography Festival
In his show, \"how to be human\", Brasch transforms lens-based source images into luminous commemorative mandalas to address the pandemic of needless violence in our communities. Completely self-taught in the discipline, he is able to showcase his perceptions of beauty, turning the real into surreal.
CONTACT is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to celebrating and fostering the art and profession of photography with an annual Festival in May throughout Toronto. Each year CONTACT showcases projects by Canadian and international artists, embracing an inclusive and accessible approach to the medium, and cultivates collaborations with and among artists, curators, institutions, and organizations.
