Toronto Botanical Garden Spring Plant Sale on Mother’s Day Weekend

Enjoy a friendly and relaxed shopping experience surrounded by plants and the people who care for them. This sale includes flowering annuals, herbaceous perennials, native plants, pollinator plants, small trees and shrubs, unique vegetables, fresh herbs… and more!

Horticulture staff, native plant specialists, and Toronto Master Gardeners will be available to offer helpful gardening advice in selecting the right plants for your home garden, terrace, or balcony.

Member Preview and Shopping Day is on Friday, May 6 from 1 to 7 p.m.

Native plant selections were developed and sourced in partnership with Carolinian Canada and Ontario Plant Restoration Alliance. Pollinator plant selectionswere developed in connection with Pollinator Partnership Canada. All proceeds support the Toronto Botanical Garden.

Free Talk: Pollinator Moms
Bees, butterflies, moths, hummingbirds, and bats all keep busy visiting flowers and making sure their young have a good start. Learn about the flowers they visit and how they build their nests from Pollinator Partnership presenter Vicki Wojcik. Then…step over to the plant sale and pick up their favourite foods!  Admission is FREE!

Parking Info

Paid parking is available in the lot directly adjacent to the gardens for $2.50 per hour. Paid parking is enforced 24 hours a day. Overnight parking is not permitted. Payment may be made by credit card, coin or via mobile app: iParkMe.

Funds from paid parking go directly to the Toronto Botanical Garden, which is a registered charity. These funds will support the long-term sustainability of TBG’s mandate – horticulture, education, conservation and research – as TBG develops a world-class botanical garden for Toronto.

Free parking is offered to Toronto Botanical Garden members as a membership benefit. Regular visitors to the gardens are encouraged to become members to enjoy the benefits and support the greening of our city. Memberships start at $45 per year.
