The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir presents the Canadian premiere of Mass for the Endangered by acclaimed American composer Sarah Kirkland Snider.
Experience TMC's spring concert of choral works that celebrate our natural world, and call on all of us to cherish and protect it. On Saturday, May 28th at 3 pm, the TMC and chamber orchestra, conducted by Jean-Sébastien Vallée, present the Canadian premiere of Mass for the Endangered by American composer Sarah Kirkland Snider. "By turns diaphanous and urgent, exultant and wary, the music both immerses us in this perilous era and stirs us to examine our collective conscience (Classical Voice)." Also on the program Aaron Copland's striking In the Beginning and Andrew Balfour’s Mamachimowin.
