Canada’s most sought-after festival for emerging Canadian filmmakers, Future of Film Showcase (FOFS), turns 10! To celebrate this milestone anniversary, the festival welcomes 2023 Canadian Screen Award-winning actor Lamar Johnson (Brother, The Last of Us) as this year’s keynote speaker. The conversation will explore Johnson’s journey as an actor; his body of work, and touch on how to pursue a career in the industry for young creatives hoping to follow their passions within film.
Plus, don't miss an exciting lineup of feature and short film screenings anchored by the Toronto premiere of the Canadian Screen Award-nominated debut feature film from Geneviève Albert, Noémie Says Yes.
