Join The Power Plant on the walking tour along the waterfront to see Paulo Nazareth’s larger-than-life sculptures!
This summer, we're excited to be conducting a series of walking tours along the waterfront, where four of Paulo Narareth’s DRY CUT sculptures, depicting Rosa Parks, Ruby Bridges, Martin Luther King Jr., and Tommie Smith, will be erected as part of STROKE—the artist’s first solo exhibition in Canada. These walking tours are emblematic of Paulo’s practice, who travels on foot throughout the Americas and the African continent, cultivating relationships with the people he encounters.
The tour will be guided by Adelina Vlas, Head of Exhibition and Publications, and Joséphine Denis, Interim Head of Public Programs, who will walk participants through Paulo’s exhibition at The Power Plant, then proceed on a walking tour along the waterfront. This will be the second in four walking tours.
