The Shape of Home. Songs in Search of Al Purdy.

Presented by Crow's Theatre at Streetcar Crowsnest

A musical investigation into the life and work of irreverent and unofficial poet laureate, Al Purdy. Purdy’s quest to find beauty in unexpected places produced a body of work full of adventure, audacity and humanity. Created by award-winning artists Frank Cox-O’Connell, Beau Dixon, Hailey Gillis, Raha Javanfar, Marni Jackson and Andrew Penner. Commissioned by Festival Players, located in the heart of Al Purdy's Prince Edward County, The Shape of Home, Songs in Search of Al Purdy honours Purdy’s quest to live life fully, to love deeply, and to challenge actively.

All Preview performances $45
Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 7:30/8 pm $60
Wednesday Matinees at 1:30/2 pm $50
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 7:30/8 pm $65
Saturday and Sunday Matinees at 1:30/2 pm $60

Each ticket is subject to a service charge of $2.50 plus HST.

Premium Seating

All Crow's Theatre 2021.22 Season shows offer limited Premium Seating for an additional $15. These seats are reserved specifically for you, in the central block considered the best eye line to the stage.

Ticket Discounts

Reduced ticket prices are available for SeniorsArts Workers, and Students and Under 30. You will be required to provide proof of eligibility when you pick up your tickets.

Sunday Pay-What-You-Can

Each Sunday a minimum of 30 Pay-What-You-Can tickets are available for the 2pm matinee performance of every Crow's Theatre production. Sales open at 12pm EST.

Groups

Groups of eight or more are eligible for discounts on select productions.
