RUTAS 2022 -AN INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF PERFORMANCE

RUTAS was born out of a desire to bring art from across the Americas to Toronto, to encounter new perspectives, voices and ideas, and to engage in conversations about art and human rights. In 2022 we celebrate the 5th edition of the RUTAS festival, and once more, we find ourselves at a pivotal time of change in this city, and around the world.
RUTAS 2022 takes place in locations around Toronto, with shows in North York at the Mel Lastman Square, Theatre Passe Muraille and Factory Theatre downtown. Our Symposium, “A home for our migrations,” in partnership with Nuit Blanche, York University and Hemispheric Encounters takes place at the Artscape Daniels Launchpad.
We invite you to check out the amazing line-up of thought provoking and powerful stories, many based on true events, come dance and network at our cabarets, and participate of performance creation workshops and industry conversations. Book your ticket early! the festival this year has three ticket prices for you to choose what best fits your budget – please be generous, but pay what you can afford: $10, $20, or $40.

There is paid public parking available in the basement of 111 Bathurst Street condos, accessible on the south side of Adelaide Street opposite the Factory Theatre box office. Alternately, there are a number of paid public parking options in the area located on Adelaide Street between Bathurst St. and Portland St.
