Chicago Symphony Orchestra Plays Mussorgsky

For the first time in over 100 years, the world-renowned Chicago Symphony Orchestra returns to Toronto! This concert marks the finale of their North American tour - and Maestro Riccardo Muti's final tour as Music Director and conductor. The Grammy Award-winning Chicago Symphony Orchestra has been named the best orchestra in the United States and the fifth best orchestra in the world by editors of Gramophone and by bachtrack critics.

In addition to the two performances, musicians from the CSO will be engaged in masterclasses for the students of The Glenn Gould School, organized by the Negaunee Music Institute at the CSO. Students will also be invited to attend an orchestra rehearsal.
