Casey House – the specialty hospital providing ground-breaking care to those living with or at risk of HIV – is presenting an immersive premiere experience with its originally produced horror film, Others.
Casey House Premieres Horror Film to #SmashStigma Around HIV
Fear fuels stigma, and stigma haunts those with HIV. This short film was created so audiences would get a feeling for the impacts of the stigma that people living with HIV face every day.
The immersive film premiere will take place at a hidden venue - Ontario Place’s west island sheltered pavilion; find the map to the location in the Eventbrite link below. Following the premiere, engage in a conversation between the lead actor, members of the HIV+ community, and other notable voices involved in the initiative.
Please note: This is an outdoor event that will happen rain or shine. Although blankets and heat lamps will be provided, please dress warmly.
Tickets can be purchased at Eventbrite. See SmashStigma.ca for details.
