Pokémon Regional Championship: A Fun-Filled Weekend for Pokémon lovers of all ages.
The 2022-23 Pokémon Championship series, leading to the Pokémon World Championships in Yokohama, Japan, is currently underway and its next stop in North America is Toronto, Ontario. The Enercare Centre (100 Princes’ Blvd, Toronto, ON) is the setting for Pokémon Regional Championships Toronto on December 2-4, 2022.
Competitors compete for up to $65,000 in prizes, scholarships and gift cards (based on attendance) as well coveted Championship Points for an invitation to the World Championship. Tournaments for this event are Pokémon Go! and the Trading Card Game. Competitors bring their own competition ready Pokémon Go! team or 60-card deck and get ready to battle!
In addition to championship tournaments, there will be Side Events for all ages and skill levels, First Step (learn to play) Retro Pokémon video games, live stream, vendors and Mr. Mitsuhiro Arita; an artist from Japan who has created over 700 Pokémon cards including the iconic Charizard!

Fans of all ages can visit First Step and receive extra goodies when learning to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Everyone is welcome to try one of the retro gaming consoles in our Free Play area. Lots of vendors have all sorts of Pokémon goodies, and you can even bring your cards to sell to the vendors!
