With help from the City of Toronto Culture Division (2013), RISE established its annual ‘Edutainment Summit’ aimed to enhance access to resources for underprivileged youth, musicians, poets, rappers and other performing artists; essentially “bridging the gap between emerging and professional artists”. This year, The 9th Annual Edutainment Summit will take place from January 26th - 28th. The summit will highlight financial workshops for artists, grant writing sessions, mentorship and network opportunities with industry professionals. We will close out this year's summit with a concert that will showcase Canada’s top performing artists to kick off the start to an amazing year!
