Ten of Toronto is a historical archival exhibition that investigates ten neighbourhoods in Toronto and asks how that history shaped the city today
Have you ever wondered why the Toronto housing market is so unaffordable or why there are so many car dealerships around Kennedy road? Or maybe you thought it was strange that there is an area called Baby Point?
A new historical archival exhibition from the Myseum of Toronto called Ten of Toronto investigates ten neighbourhoods in Toronto and asks how that history shaped the city today. From February 8 to April 30, residents and visitors can delve into the forces that have shaped the city’s neighbourhoods: geography, economy, immigration, finance, urban development, culture, inequality, and social values. By understanding Toronto's diverse past we can understand a little bit more about the city we live in.
