To coincide with this year’s International Women’s Day, March 8, a special exhibition of women artists on loan from Toronto private collectors will be on display for the very first time.
The Women’s Art Association of Canada: A Legacy Show consists of artworks by artist and founder, Mary Ella Dignam, along with her circle of women artists, such as Emily Carr, Mary Hiester Reid, Florence Carlyle, Clara Isabella Harris, Dorothy Stevens, Florence Helena McGillivray, just to name a few.
The Women’s Art Association of Canada’s permanent collection, always hangs in the hallways, office, and stairwells, and can be viewed any time you visit the building.
