The CDTPS at U of T opens its 2023 Mainstage Show, don’t cry when constellations beg to burn, on March 9, 2023.
The Centre for Drama, Theatre & Performance Studies (CDTPS) at the University of Toronto will open its mainstage performance don’t cry when constellations beg to burn written by Ho Ka Kei (Jeff Ho) directed by Eva Barrie and performed by DRM403 students.
In a world where birds hold more rights than books: two men pitch a better way of living to a Bird Man, while a group of students leaf through books to censor dangerous thoughts. Delightfully irreverent and thought-provoking, don't cry when constellations beg to burn by Jeff Ho is a brand new play about freedom and the power of imagination.
