Weekly Drop-in Buddhist Meditation Classes at Fort York Library, Toronto (Meeting Room) | Tuesday evenings: 6:00 – 7:15 p.m. | $15/person
This series of weekly drop-in Buddhist meditation classes offer a rare opportunity to receive commentary to the book, 'How to Solve Our Human Problems' by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. The teachings in this book are particularly powerful for helping us develop a strong, stable, peaceful mind of patient acceptance, thus overcoming our tendency to become stressed, anxious, or angry in difficult situations. We will learn how to respond to life's challenges with a positive, peaceful mind, using these situations as opportunities for spiritual growth. Through understanding and practising these teachings, we can gain true inner strength and confidence.
Classes include two guided meditations and a practical teaching. Although taught as a series, each class is self-contained and can be attended individually. Drop in anytime. Everyone is welcome!
