Learn all about the Toronto Waterfront’s past, present, and future on a free, educational boat tour of the Toronto Harbour.
Discover the transformation of Toronto’s waterfront over the last 20 years and how it has evolved as a waterfront city. Learn about the waterfront’s growth from its industrial past to where it stands now, and what is planned for the future vision of the waterfront. Speakers include Pina Mallozzi from Waterfront Toronto, Matti Siemiatycki from University of Toronto Infrastructure Institute, and Oliver Hierlihy from Waterfront BIA.
This Jane’s Walk will be a boat tour and space may be limited. Their will be two boats-one from 11am-12pm and another from 12pm-1pm.
Walk Start Location: By the Beavertails (145 Queens Quay West) at York Slip. Walk Leader will have a Waterfront BIA sign, and will be by the boat.

This is a family-friendly walk. Our walk leaders will use audio amplification. This walk will be held on a boat so wheelchair accessibility is dependent on water levels. Unfortunately, we can’t know if wheelchairs will be able to board the boat until the day of the event.
