Get Reel Film Fest: Opening Night

Get Reel Film Fest: Opening Night

Presented by Stella's Place at TIFF Lightbox

Join us for the opening night of the Get Reel Film Fest by Stella's Place! To kick off the week's events, we will be premiering three original shorts exploring themes of mental health and identity. The lineup includes a deeply relatable comedy about insomnia, an animation about a Canadian immigrant's relationship with her cultural identity, and a drama about a woman separated from her family and struggling with PTSD after fleeing the war in Ukraine.

Each film has been commissioned by Get Reel as part of the Emerging Artist Scholarship program.
