The Cunning Little Vixen

The Cunning Little Vixen

Presented by Canadian Opera Company at Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts

This winter, the COC invites audiences of all ages to see Janáček’s fairytale opera The Cunning Little Vixen, returning to our stage for the first time in over 20 years. After premiering it last season at English National Opera, British director Jamie Manton brings to Toronto his production of the Czech composer’s timeless reflection on humanity’s relationship with planet Earth. COC Music Director Johannes Debus conducts the COC Orchestra and a cast that features acclaimed Canadian soprano Jane Archibald and English bass-baritone Christopher Purves.
