CineFAM annual mixer and networking event plus mini-film festival! Every year, women of colour in film gather to share stories, enjoy camaraderie and to support each other’s work. CineFAM will be bringing you the best from women of colour creators both in Canada and from around the world. CineFAM’s mandate is to foster gender equality by reducing systemic discrimination against women of colour in media through supporting the creation and distribution of works by women of colour in Canada’s film industry. CineFAM exists to enhance the visibility of women of colour, strengthen their networks, and facilitate access to the resources of the larger film industry.
