Afrique Like Me is celebrating its four year anniversary and curating an iconic night of African electronic dance music!
Afrique Like Me is kicking off its residency at the Drake Underground (every last Saturday of the month) and celebrating four years.
The city's premier event for African electronic music will feature special guests Risky Medicine, Kiké and Baby Mmune, who are well known for their dynamic sets, which weave together the sounds of everything from Gqom to Amapiano to Afro house, so bring your dancing shoes.
The Afrique Like Me collective (Razaq El Toro, martinses, and Sonic Griot) will also be throwing down it down on the decks with an electrifying mix of Afro house, Afro tech and electronic music from around the world.
This event is open to the public, there will be door tickets until the venue is sold out/at capacity. There are four ticket tiers
