Things Black Girls Say returns featuring an epic display of rarely combined, yet talented and hilarious, Black female comics presented as part of Comedy is Art running at The Theatre Centre October 26-30, 2021.
After last month’s sold-out show Comedy Bar, Things Black Girls Say returns to The Theatre Centre, featuring an epic display of rarely combined, yet talented and hilarious, Black women comics. The concept for TBGS was that of the show’s producer; Zabrina Douglas, a touring comic with her own solo show in the Toronto Fringe Festival. Zabrina saw an opportunity in being able to showcase voices that weren’t often, if ever, on the same bill. This show will feature some of the best comics in Canada including Tamara Shevon Coko Galore Daphne Jo Kenny Robinson, Al Douglas and Keesha Brownie.
Each show presented as part of Comedy is Art is free to attend, but in-person attendance is limited; you can also live-stream the show from the comfort of your home. Shows are suitable for audiences 18+ and start at 8pm each evening.
