Famous adventuring heiress Indie Santiago was visiting an archaeological dig in the Accona desert when she went missing– along with a recently unearthed artifact! Scour ancient civilizations, unravel a tale through the ages and discover the secrets of the missing artifact to answer....Where in the world is Indie Santiago?

Admission Info

Tickets are $47.50 +HST per person and include admission to the Royal Ontario Museum, your on-site host, and access to our scavenger hunt app. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

If you have a ROM Membership, please call us for a discount code.  You must then bring your membership with you on the day of your hunt.

Participation is free for kids aged 12 and under (although you will still need to purchase museum admission for them at the museum).

Additional time info:

Please arrive at the museum 10 minutes prior to your game time to get signed in, use the facilities and receive your scavenger hunt app game codes before the orientation begins. Your Urban Capers hosts will be there early to greet you!

Your host will get everyone set up and then provide an orientation. You'll then have a two-hour game experience, racing the clock.  You'll finish with the grand finale; your host will present the conclusion, give all-star shout-outs, and announce the winning team!

Players are welcome to continue exploring the museum once the hunt is complete. (ROM is open until 5:30pm on weekends.)

Accessibility Info

We want this hunt to be accessible for all players. Teams chart their own route through the museum, and accessible routes are available. Wheelchairs are available at the coat check on a first-come, first-served basis. Large print map guides are available at the Admissions Desk. It is important to note that the game requires one player per team to read the clues through the mobile app. If you have any questions or concerns, reach out and we'll be happy to help.

ROM entrances:

The Michael Lee Chin Bloor Street Entrance features automatic sliding doors and a 2% slope from Bloor Street into ROM galleries.

The Weston Queen’s Park Entrance features a ramp and push button automatic doors.

Vehicles may use the layby on Bloor Street West or Queen’s Park to drop off and pickup visitors. Parking is not permitted in these lanes.

The closest accessible subway station is St. George, located a block west of ROM on Bloor Street. Museum subway station has stair-only access.

Accessibility inside the MuseumWheelchairs

ROM has a limited number of manual wheelchairs available at coat check, free of charge. Visitors may submit a piece of photo ID to borrow a wheelchair. No reservation is required.

Quiet Spaces Map Guide, with quieter galleries marked for visitors who require a quiet moment. Visitors who require additional privacy may request any Security staff for access to the First Aid and Special Needs Room on the first floor.
