Skating at The Bentway Skate Trail is free. Registration not required. Skate rentals are available onsite for a fee.

The Bentway welcomes back neighbours and fun-seekers for one of winter’s best activities, outdoor ice skating under the Gardiner! Skaters are invited to cruise our 220m figure-eight skate trail. This winter, skate under the magic of the Northern Lights and experience a special, soaring art installation of woven arches stretching overhead.

Festive favourites return, including free skate rental nights, free hot chocolate nights, skating lessons, our Polar Bear Skate, and more. Skate rentals for children to adults are available for a fee! We also offer skate sharpening on site.
