The album gained lots of airtime on Muchmusic and MTV, followed by successes in Japan and Europe. A Canadian artist of many hats — some may remember him from his early days in the progressive thrash band TRANSILIENCE, his off-the-wall art shows OR from his self-directed eye-popping 'Dizzy Playground' television series (exclaim!/Aux TV) featuring guest musicians such as Feist, Melissa Auf Der Maur and Voivod — has been cited as an influence by a panoply of musical visionaries including Owen Pallett (Arcade Fire), Esthero and Chilly Gonzales.
