Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in High Park with us and the mosses and lichens that begin greening up for the spring season.
With the spring sun shining warmly and the rains softly falling, the mosses and lichens in High Park are every shade of green! On this family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day-inspired walk, we’ll learn about the different types of mosses and lichens, why they’re different from other plants, and their connection to folklore. If we are lucky, we may spot a Leprechaun or two!
