OUFAH JALLOW, GAMBIAN ACTIVIST AND FEMINIST, WILL SPREAD THE WORD IN TORONTO
On the occasion of International Women's Day, Alliance Française Toronto, in collaboration with the Oasis Centre des Femmes, the Consulate General and the cultural service of the French Embassy in Canada, is hosting an event featuring Toufah Jallow, a Gambian feminist activist and author of "The Woman Who Inspired an African #MeToo Movement".
This event initiates a dialogue between two committed women advocating for women's rights: Toufah and Nawel Bentobbal, consultant at the Oasis association. The exchanges will shed light on Toufah's advocacy and the crucial work of the Oasis Centre des Femmes. A book signing session, available in both English and French, is scheduled, providing an opportunity to meet and engage with the author.
