WORLD PREMIERE | A Theatre Passe Muraille and Silk Bath Collective Co-Production

An epic exploration of two decades of a family’s survival. Woking Phoenix tells the story of three siblings, their mother, and their restaurant as they seek to find belonging within small-town Ontario. An intergenerational Chinese love story about creating community and the food that reminds us of home.

Admission Info

For TPM productions this season we have a Pay-What-You-Can-Afford model, and offering single tickets only.

The ticket prices are currently: $12, $35, and $65 for our Season Productions.

In order to remove barriers in our pricing, we are offering these three price points so that a wide range of audiences are able to attend our productions. We encourage audiences to make their own choices about what they can afford in order to experience theatre. Those purchasing at the $65 price point will do so with the understanding that their ticket price is helping to subsidize the $12 ticket price, and in doing so, making theatre more accessible for others.

*If these price points create a barrier for you, please contact our box office to discuss your options.

Theatre Passe Muraille is a Relaxed Environment:

Theatre Passe Muraille, and all Theatre Passe Muraille shows have a Relaxed Environment. A Relaxed Environment is more welcoming and is created for audiences who have various access needs that a traditional theatre environment does not accommodate.

During a Relaxed Environment performance, an audience member can: enter and exit the theatre, move around throughout the theatre, can make noise or sounds, and those who need to keep their phone on will be able to do so as long as it is on silent or on vibrate. Our Relaxed Environment is a scent-free environment. Throughout the show, there will be some light over the audience.

Our Relaxed Space:

If you leave the theatre at any time during a performance there is a Relaxed space in the lobby you can visit. Our Relaxed Space is a quiet space equipped with comfortable seating, blankets, and sensory objects for any patrons who need a break from or would like to experience the performance in a more low-intensity environment. If you decide to visit the Relaxed Space in the lobby, a Front of House Staff will be there to support you.

Blind Friendly: Blind Friendly performances have been imagined with audiences who are Blind or have low vision in mind.

Content warnings: Depictions of Violence, Strong Language, Grief. Suggested age: 13 +
