Drunk Feminist Films presents She's All That

Drunk Feminist Films presents She's All That

Presented by Hot Docs at Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema

Right about now (the funk soul brother), we’d like to invite you to join DFF for M. Night Shyamalan's arthouse classic She's All That. Watch a soccer player heroically debase himself by taking a Political Artist With Glasses to the prom, in order to prove himself as the greater capitalist/sentient hackysack to his even more terrible friend (RIP Paul Walker)!

Get ready to emerge from the spiritual suburban staircase of this event creatively and emotionally made-over.

Hosted by Nelu Handa and Sima Sepehri.

This screening is part of a 2-night double feature—we’re screening 10 Things I Hate About You on Wednesday, March 27. Gather your pals for an evening (or two) of Y2K mayhem. Drunk Feminist Films will donate 10% of ticket sale profits to Sistering.

7:00 PM: Doors
8:00 PM: Show

Tickets: $25 (Students/Seniors: $20)

The film will be screened with captions. Please email us at drunkfeministfilms@gmail.com by March 13 if you require ASL interpretation for the commentary, and we will ensure it is available for you!

Masks are encouraged between sips/bites.

The cinema has wheelchair-accessible seats, and there is also an accessible washroom. Ticketholders requiring an accessible seat may email drunkfeministfilms@gmail.com, and we will ensure cinema staff direct your party to your seat upon arrival.

Please do not wear scented products to DFF screenings. All washrooms on-site will be open to people of any gender at this event. We ask our guests to avoid making assumptions and comments about other guests' bodies or gender identities (e.g. which washroom equipment they use).

About Drunk Feminist Films: Since 2013, Drunk Feminist Films has been producing interactive events that use shouty, snarky & fun-fuelled commentary to tease apart the tropes of mainstream movies. Because we'd rather laugh than cry about representations of gender, race, sexuality, class and other aspects of identity in pop culture. Drinking definitely not required.
