IOLA GABOUR is a lonely waitress on the night shift, at a truck stop diner in the middle of nowhere. When the local radio station hosts a beauty pageant to win backstage passes to her favorite rock band, IOLA is determined to find out what’s beyond the parking lot gravel. First…..she needs to figure out the talent portion, what to wear and how to get there?

Born a clown, Kendall Savage is currently Based in Toronto. Savage holds degrees in Musical Theatre Performance (Randolph Academy) and Clown Performance BFA (Concordia University). After their experience of UofA MFAP in Clown, studying under Mike Kennard (Mump and Smoot), they returned to Montreal to become the Artistic Director and Co-creator of Le Festival des Clown du Montreal. Savage is thrilled to be home performing her one woman clown show “A Truck Stop Diner. In the Middle of Nowhere. On the Night Shift.” at
Sweet Action Theatre 180 Shaw Street.
