We are excited to announce our first solo exhibition of the season, COMÉDIE HUMAINE, by Michel Blouin a dynamic show of 40 works on display April 18th through May 5th, 2024.
Blouin`s work is characterized by his rich palette of emotions, from joy to melancholy, expressed through a vibrant and symbolic visual language. Born and residing on Île d ’Orleans, his newest series continues to depict Blouin's artistic exploration of the human experience, seen through expressive cityscapes of everyday life, moments in nature, beautiful still life's, animal forms and figures. Expressionist and existentialist in his own way, Michel Blouin depicts a very personal mythology, imbued with fantasies, memories, spirituality, and humour.
COMÉDIE HUMAINE will be Michel Blouin`s inaugural solo show in Toronto, and we are thrilled to invite you to experience this amazing exposition at the Thompson Landry Gallery!
