Toronto’s Alumnae Theatre Company has made its home, for more than 40 years, at old Firehall No. 4 at 70 Berkeley Street & Adelaide. It contains the fully equipped Mainstage Theatre, our intimate Studio Theatre, the Heritage Lobby, a workshop, backstage area, and a benign ghost. The Alumnae Mainstage is a traditional proscenium arch theatre. Fully air-conditioned, it seats 140 people and is wheelchair accessible.
The Studio Theatre features open wooden beams and large windows that can be hidden or exposed. Maximum capacity is 80 seats. The Studio Theatre is located on the 3rd floor and is not wheelchair-accessible.
