Michel DeQuevedo is a talented Mexican-Canadian Singer-Songwriter and Percussionist, known for his genre-defying sound that blends Latin and African rhythms with contemporary Pop sensibilities and added hints of rock and jazz.

With a reputation for excellence, Michel has collaborated with renowned artists such as Grammy Award winners Natalia Lafourcade, Julieta Venegas and Molotov; Juno award winners Walk off the Earth, Richard Underhill and Quique Escamilla and Juno award nominees Sultans of String.

In 2021, Michel was diagnosed with stage IV Gastrointestinal Neuroendocrine Cancer, prompting him to establish NETs México, the only patient advocacy organization for this condition in Latin America.
