Award-winning comedian and Canadian academy award-nominated actress Aliya Kanani is working on herself, and her new show, taking us on her colourful journey of self-reflection.

After a few days in a Scottish hospital in the middle of her first Edinburgh Fringe, Aliya was forced to ask herself some tough questions, like “What is the meaning of life?” and “Is it supposed to be that colour?”

She set off on a mission to find some answers, in India, at a healing and mediation centre where she practiced with a yoga master for 37 days. She went for answers, but returned with more questions!

Balancing comedy and life lessons, plus a tiny lil’ existential crisis somewhere in the middle… we got ourselves a new show!

You may remember her from her internationally-toured award-winning show “Where You FROM, From?”. If you thought she laid it all on the table there, just wait to see what secrets she spills here!

You may also recognize her as Ms Hina from the Best Motion Picture film, Scarborough, for which she was nominated for Best Performance by a Lead Actress.

Or you might know her face from the Super Bowl “Skip the Dishes” commercial, which is the least impressive of the 3 but somehow the one most people message her about!
