Anansi's Odyssey: A Culinary Experience

Anansi’s Odyssey mirrors the black tradition of transmitting cultural values and history through oral expression and food. The experience will follow the folklore figure’s journey from the Gold Coast to Afro-communities in the Caribbean and the Americas. Diners will be transported to a world of Afro-folklore, mythology, and superstitions while discovering a diverse range of Afro-diaspora cuisine from Ghana, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, and ending in South Carolina.

-Storytelling by Kesha Christine of Talkin’ Tales

-Art by local artist Janice Garel of Station Lane Co, with limited edition designs available for purchase.

* The pre-event cocktail will go from 6:30 to 7:00 PM, and the main event will promptly start at 7:00 PM. As this is a programmed event, guests are encouraged to arrive prior to the start of the main event.

* Guests will receive a complimentary drink during the pre-event cocktail and have the option to purchase additional drinks throughout the event.

*Griot’s Table will do our very best to accommodate dietary restrictions if you let us know in advance, but there is NO guarantee that all courses can be served in accordance with your restrictions.
