ARTISTS:
Akbal Music, is a veteran of the global deep house scene, who finally comes back to Toronto after a 3 year absence with his dreamy melodic style that fuses earthly percussions, tribal rhythms and natural textures. Robbie is a regular at Burning Man, where he has played at The Pink Mammoth amongst other camps. Besides founding and running his own label Akbal Music, he has also been signed to Damian Lazarus’s Crosstown Rebels, as well as to other respected labels such as Sol Selectas, Kindisch, Get Physical, Culprit, and others.
Robbie has played the world over including Womoon and Story Tellers Ibiza, Kater Blau and Sisyphos Berlin, Club Space Miami, and Papaya Playa Tulum. He is currently on tour through Europe, Thailand, South Korea and North America and it is a privilege to kick of Gypsy with him.
IBIZA SONICA RADIO weekly host and Dj Veteran, with more than 30 years of playing clubs around the world including, Amnesia, Space, Pacha, Akasha, Blue Marlin and Km5 in Ibiza, and festivals such as The BPM, Full Moon Festival, Trancendance, Universo Paralello, and Cumbre Tajin in places such as Mexico, Canada, Ibiza, Israel, Japan, Europe, and South America.
