Jig Street is a Celtic band revamping traditional Irish music, mashing up beloved pop/rock tunes, and adding our own originals to the mix. The band was formed in NYC in 2017 and has since played in various settings all around the states and now Toronto.

The Next Contemporary (@thenextcontemporary) — a space dedicated to showcasing BIPOC artists and those who have been historically marginalized from the mainstream narrative — recently unveiled a new group exhibition. THAT WHICH WE WERE GIVEN examines the politics of Black place-making. It invites you to explore and understand how displacement through generations of migration implies more than just dispersal and reveals a paradoxical emotional state of both displacement and attachment.⁠
