Beginning their first ever season with flourish and fervor, Lazzuli Baroque is proud to present their inaugural show, Journey of Love. Journey of Love features works by Monteverdi, Strozzi, Merula, and more. Duval and Lambert explore the tenuous nature of love through the exquisite song tradition of early 17th century Italian music. The concert takes the audience through the stages of love: longing, infatuation, stability, fights, breakups, and even a happy ending for the lovers. This show is as delightful as it is poignant, and this beautiful music shines in their voices.
