Let’s Go Blue Jays Family Nature Walk in High Park

High Park Nature Center

Prepare for the Toronto Blue Jays’ home opener by diving into the connections between Blue Jays, baseball and nature in High Park.

With the Toronto Blue Jays’ home opener on the horizon, it is the prefect time to dive into the rich history of Toronto baseball, the nature connections of the game, and, of course, the avian Blue Jays themselves! Join us for a hike through High Park where sports history meets nature. We will learn about trees that are used to make bats, what elms have to do with a spit ball, and how Blue Jays make it in the birding big leagues.
