Love Park Grand Opening

The 2-acre park will feature a 165-metre heart-shaped pond with pond-side seating, tree-lined sidewalks, and dedicated park furniture that can be moved to suit your vantage point! Come enjoy the new green space in the community as we celebrate the beginning of summer with live music, special guest speakers, family-friendly fun activities, free snacks, and an exciting surprise for attendees. Bring your kids and your pets! There is a new off-leash area for your furry friends to run around on the waterfront at Love Park. The opening event will also have plenty of activities and games for children to have fun and explore the new park.

Located in the heart of the central waterfront, at the southern foot of York Street and Queens Quay West, this new two-acre park designed by CCXA (Canada’s Sugar Beach, HTO Park, Berczy Park) creates a playful and immersive experience secluded from busy downtown life.
Come see the unique features of the park including nine bronze-cast Canadian animals and moveable café-style furniture sponsored by the Waterfront BIA.
